Martin Amrein, born 1981, studied history and philosophy of science in Berne and Cambridge (UK) and biology in Zurich. He specialized in evolutionary anthropology and the history of evolutionary theory. After working as science journalist for several Swiss daily newspapers he joined the science team of the Swiss weekly "NZZ am Sonntag“ as an editor in 2014. He is vice president of the Swiss Association of Science Journalism.
