Manuela Di Giulio is trained in ecology and environmental sciences. She did research for several years before she specialised in science communication and outreach. Manuela was a project leader at the communication service of the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL before starting as a freelancer in science communication and outreach. Since 2016 she is the secretary of the Swiss Academic Society for Environmental Research and Ecology (saguf).
