This Wachter is an audio and science journalist currently working as a freelancer in Bern, Switzerland. Until 2016 he was a senior producer at Swiss Public Radio. He led the production of the national 24-hour talk radio station, Radio SRF 4 News. In 2012, he was awarded the honour of the “Prix Média” from the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences for his radio feature about the late Swiss-American bridge-builder Othmar Ammann. This Wachter moved to Swiss Public Radio after 12 years in print journalism.
