Sandra Andraszewicz
Dr. Sandra Andraszewicz is a post-doctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). Being based at the Chair of Cognitive Science, she conducts interdisciplinary research in the domain of financial and risky decision making, risk assessment, behavioural and cognitive underpinnings of market bubbles and crashes, and bounded rationality of investors. Her work is based on empirical studies, lab-based and field behavioural experiments, formal modelling and quantitative methods. Before joining the Chair of Cognitive Science, Sandra Andraszewicz worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Decision Theory and Behavioral Game Theory, and at the Chair of Entrepreneurial Risks. Between her academic appointments, she worked for the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, and in the financial modelling team of global reinsurance company SCOR. Sandra Andraszewicz completed her bachelor's degree at the University College Utrecht where she studied interdisciplinary cognitive sciences including psychology, neuroscience, linguistics and statistical methods. She completed her master's degree at the University of Edinburgh where she focused on Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing. She received her Doctorate from the Center for Economic Psychology at the University of Basel.
