Thanks to the large concentration of high-level research within a small area, Lunch@Lab visits take place during the lunch breaks. Fingerfood and sandwiches will be provided, so that the discovery of the labs and discussions with the researchers can last up to around 90 minutes. (Lunchbags will be offered)

This hands-on session will introduce journalists to some essential, practical tools of investigative reporting.

The most vexing policy issues of our time inevitably require a great deal of input from scientists. The European Union spends over 10 billion Euros per year to finance policy relevant research carried out by independent researchers as well as in-house scientists.
