One year to go, first five speakers announced

In just one year from now, we will welcome over 1000 science journalists and communicators from around the world. And we are buzzing to prepare the best conference programme for you!

The 15-member programme committee met on 9 July to establish some highlights of the conference. It was decided that WCSJ2019 will kick off with a panel discussing the place of science in mainstream media today, featuring leading practitioners from print, radio, TV and online, and moderated by Pulitzer Prize winning science journalist Deborah Blum.
